I founded KINGDOM in 2012 in response to the need for a school that provides high-level training to actors who may be 'overlooked' elsewhere.
I wanted to create a school that people like myself would feel at home and understood.
The vision is to provide outstanding contemporary training to actors who would not normally follow the three-year drama school route. To cultivate a network of exceptional talent from beginners and professionals alike and to hone students' skills in order to best equip them for successful careers in the industry.
In 2017, my good friend and super talented actor, Ashley Walters, joined the KINGDOM family as a joint owner. Outside of a hectic filming schedule, Ashley often administers monthly auditions and Monologue Jams at the school as well as TOP BOY masterclasses for our returning students.
SLNda
I set-up SLNda (pronounced slander) alongside Ashley Walters back in the middle of 2017. It's an independent film and television production company that works on stories from the world we grew up in.
